Chennai-based MRF Pace Foundation in association with Mumbai Cricket Association is currently conducting a two-day coaching programme for Mumbai Ranji, under-23 and under-19 category of fast bowlers at the MCA Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy and Recreation Centre.

MRF Pace Foundation director Glenn McGrath and other coaches from MRF Pace Foundation are training 16 fast bowlers from Mumbai including experienced Ranji and India pacer Dhawal Kulkarni. About seven coaches from Mumbai are also participating in the programme that will conclude today. “There are some bowlers here who have played for the country and state. The idea is to give some tips on technique, tell them how they can be bit more efficient and stay injury-free. If they incorporate anything in their bowling, it will make them a better cricketer,” said former Australian Test cricketer McGrath.

“We will also show video analysis of bowlers to coaches and give them feedback. Whatever suits them they can continue with that,” McGrath added.
