Sania Mirza cheekily congratulates Hassan Ali on his wedding

Mumbai: Pakistani cricketer Hassan Ali and Indian national Shamia Arzoo’s marriage is creating a lot of buzz on social media for some time now. Hassan had announced earlier that their marriage ceremony will take place at the Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai on August 20.

Shamia is an Indian national living in Haryana. They both met during a dinner party in Dubai and since then they had been dating until Hassan sent a marriage proposal to her, which she then accepted.

Hassan Ali recently tweeted a picture of himself with a caption that read, “last night as a bachelor”.

Hasan then got a reply from Sania Mirza, who is married to his cricket colleague Shoaib Malik. In a cheeky way, she wished the couple on their big day.

She wrote, “Congratulations Hassan. wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness .. this time you’ll have to treat us to more than Nandos though.”

Hassan Ali, in a press conference earlier, had said that he has invited the Indian cricket players to his marriage ceremony and that he would be happy if they showed up.

Hassan Ali is the fourth Pakistani cricketer to get married to an Indian girl. Zaheer Abbas, Mohsin Khan and Shoaib Malik are the others to marry an Indian girl. Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had a high-profile wedding in April 2010.
