Mumbai: Harmanpreet Kaur is perhaps one of the greatest batsmen that has been produced by India. The 30-year-old batting all-rounder is known for her batting prowess, but during the latest match against West Indies, she proved once again what a brilliant fielder she is.

West Indies star batswoman and captain Stafanie Taylor was on 94 and it was the last ball of the West Indies innings. In order to complete her century, she needed a six off the last ball. Taylor hit the ball towards the long-on boundary. But Harmanpreet had other plans as she leapt up like a gazelle at the boundary line and snatched the ball right out of thin air.

Needless to say, everyone was taken aback by this acrobatic catch. Here’s the video that is being circulated on social media.

Harmanpreet is not new to taking acrobatic catches as she has previously done so. Last year in Women’s Big Bash League while playing for the Sydney Thunder team she took a very difficult backwards running diving catch to dismiss a player.

Despite the fielding heroics displayed, India went on to lose the match against West Indies by just a run in ICC Women's Championship.
