Mumbai: Former England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen and ex-Pakistani pacer, Shoaib Akhtar engaged in a friendly banter.  The banter started when Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at the current Pakistan players and urged them to play with blood, sweat, aggression, racing heartbeat, and a little bit of naughtiness after their successive defeats during the World Cup.

"Blood, sweat, aggression, racing heartbeat, badmaashi. This is whats required when you represent your country. This star on your chest is your pride guys. Tagra khelo. Go get them. Larr jao."

In response Pietersen replied that he agrees with Akhtar’s tweet as Shoaib celebrated only after the former English Batsman hit him all over the park to score a century.  "Can’t argue with that tweet buddy as you’re celebrating after I smacked you all over for a 100...! Great passion! 😂".

Following that Akhtar tweeted, ‘’Mate you were a true force to reckon with but loved my chicken dance after getting u out ..🕺🏻." Akhtar also shared his video showing him dancing in front of Pietersen after getting KP out.

However, Akhtar’s intention was to inspire the demoralised Pakistani team who has lost two successive matches on the trot.

Pakistan initially started their losing streak against Afghanistan in a World Cup warm up match followed by a thrashing at the hands of rampant West Indies.
