The trailer of 'Veere Di Wedding' was unveiled among the media and fans at a suburban theatre on Wednesday. It was all about the girl gang at the much-awaited venue.
After 'Khoobsurat', Sonam Kapoor's sister and father have once again produced 'Veere Di Wedding'.
Not only for productions, the director of 'Khoobsurat', Shashanka Ghosh too has directed the film.
It stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in one of the lead roles. The actress, in an unusual outing, blew all minds with an outfit that complimented her well-toned figure.
Kareena will be seen in this movie post her pregnancy. Her baby Taimur Ali Khan is also a part of the movie as the actress shot for a scene when she was pregnant.
Sonam Kapoor spoke about her marriage, revealing very little and confirming almost nothing.
She also spoke about women empowerment, comparing Kareena with her ex Shahid Kapoor.
Bebo has not signed any film officially during this time and it now appears that she might be in consideration for Ashutosh Gowariker's next.
She said that she needs just some more time with her little one Taimur before she gets back in action.
Kareena reveals that it was because of Rhea Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan's motivation that she chose to break the norm and do 'Veere Di Wedding'.
Kareena and Sonam bonded well on the sets, and they were even seen in the last season of Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan'.
The movie also stars Shikha Talsania, who got her claim to fame by playing Ranbir Kapoor's friend in 'Wake Up! Sid'.
Sonam Kapoor's great friend Swara Bhasker, who worked with the actress in 'Ranjhana' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', also plays a pivotal role in this one.
The trailer is about girls who are unapologetic for the way they are, promoting the message of feminism rather than chick flick.
The Veeres together were quite a great example of sisterhood, something which producer Ekta Kapoor also flaunts of with her girl gang from the TV industry.
