Bollywood stars lend their support to Padmaavat team at special screening

Deepika Padukone plays the character of the Rajput Queen Padmavati in the film, based on the 16th century poem ‘Padmavat.’
Ranveer Singh plays the character of tyrant Alauddin Khilji, who declares war to obtain the Queen after hearing about her beauty.
Shahid Kapoor, who arrived with wife Mira, plays the character of Rajput king Maharawal Ratan Singh.
Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’ where he is paired opposite debutante Banita Sandhu.
Kajol kicked off the shoot of ‘Eela’, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, few days ago, her first after the release of ‘Dilwale.’
Sonakshi Sina acknowledges the cameras as she arrived with Manish Malhotra for the screening. The actress will next be seen in ‘Welcome to New York.’
Manish was also seen with his close friend, veteran actress Sridevi on her way to the screening. She is yet to announce her next after ‘Mom.’
