'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' actor Varun Dhawan installed a plastic bottle-crushing machine at Juhu beach in the suburbs.
The actor, who also stays in Juhu, wrote on Twitter, “Plastic bottle crushing machine installed at juhu beach. It’s made in india this machine these initiatives are very helpful #savethebeach #WorldEnvirnomentDay.”
Varun, who is currently shooting for Abhishek Verman’s ‘Kalank’, was happy to pose for selfies with those gathered.
The actor addresses the media and all those gathered at the venue. He had also posted a video about the need to ‘save the beach’ and thanked all those associated with the initiative.

The duo participated in a tree plantation drive and were seen planting saplings and watering it together.
Shiv Sena youth wing chief Aaditya Thackeray was also present at the event. On Twitter, Daisy wrote, “A basic activity made me feel the happiest today!
