Rain washes out kolkata main event
Following a heavy downpour after the seventh race, which had rendered the going sloppy and not conducive for racing, the Stewards of the Royal Calcutta Turf Club have decided to postpone the eighth race and scheduled main event of the day, the Calcutta Monsoon Derby, to Tuesday, October 8, and cancelled the remaining two races of the day.
