Great grand mum who asked people to choose wedding dress gets married

Remember the 93-year-old granny who had sent social media into a frenzy earlier this year when she asked Facebook to help pick out her wedding dress?

Well it turns out that Sylvia Martin and her beau, 88-year-old Frank have finally tied the knot with a ceremony in Monash on July 25.

Frank had apparently asked Sylvia to marry him everyday for 15 years before she finally said ‘yes’. The couple who have been together for 20 years met when Sylvia was 73 and Frank was 68.

The newlyweds are all geared up to go to Tonga for their honeymoon.

The great-grandmother who had posted several gowns online ended up deciding on a stunning $348 Sacha Drake short-sleeved lace gown with the help from the public.
