Mentally-challenged youths give computer lessons to inmates

Thane: Two mentally-challenged youths are imparting computer lessons to around 20 inmates at a day centre in Mumbai.

Sayli Dhurat and Tushar Kharkar, both 23, underwent the computer course for a week at Bengaluru-based Amba Foundation in October, Chairman of 'Jagruti Palak Sansta' Satish Dhurat said.

"The two are now imparting lessons on computer skills to around 20 other inmates of the centre," Dhurat said.

He said two more youths Bina Vidhyatadna, 20 and Ashwin Vidhyatanda, 23 will soon undertake a six-day Self Advocacy course.
