A litter of ten puppies who have all been named after members of the royal family will soon get to go to their forever homes on Saturday.

The crossbreeds were born on National Puppy Day on March 23 and were being cared for buy staff at Dogs Trust Manchester Staff.

Members of the animal charity organisation have named them Harry, Meghan, Duchess, Prince, William, Henry, George, Windsor, Charlie and Albert.

As millions around the world watch a new beginning to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wife, the puppies too will be starting with the latest chapters to their life, The Metro reported.

The puppies’ mum, thought to be an Akita cross, arrived at the dogs home in Manchester as a heavily pregnant stray and she has since been rehomed.

Speaking to The Metro, Dawn Bishop, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Manchester, said, “On the day the couple commit themselves to each other for the rest of their lives, our lovely and very excited owners will be making exactly the same commitment to their furry, four-legged family member.”

Bishop further added, “It has been a joy to look after them and no doubt they will be treated like royalty in their new homes. ‘It’s wonderful that everyone has found their special someone and we wish Prince Harry and Meghan, and our terrific ten, all the happiness they deserve.”
