It is not often you see a traffic cop driving an ambulance to the hospital but in November, a local traffic cop in Bangalore, SN Ravi switched jobs only to deliver the baby safely to the hospital.

The incident happened after the traffic police stopped the ambulance taking the six-day-old baby for rash driving in the early hours of the morning. The police then found out that the ambulance driver was drunk and not fit to drive. Upon investigation they also realised that the premature baby needed immediate care and had to be transported to the hospital immediately.

SN Ravi then decided to take matters in his hands and stepped into the ambulance to drive the baby and his parents to the Vani Vilas hospital from Narayana Health City. The driver was arrested and booked but it was constable SN Ravi heart-warming gesture that makes us realise that superheroes do exist.
