Young cancer survivor excited to attend to royal wedding

A young cancer survivor is excited to be invited to the royal wedding, the Daily Mail reported.

Nine-year-old Ruddi Waterworth-Jones and his mother Ali, from Huddersfield received the invitation for  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding from the Duke of York's Community Initiative.

Ali is the founder of children's respite care charity Ruddi's Retreat and is being recognised for her work, She founded the charity after Ruddi was diagnosed with the disease and just six months old.

"When he found out about the wedding invitation he cried, laughed and then screamed. I was filming him on my phone and he came running towards me and accidentally bust my lip," Ali told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner. Adding, "Seeing the Royal wedding will be an amazing privilege as we are just folks from Huddersfield."

They will be among the 2,600 guests for the May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle.

Ruddi is also hoping to get a selfie with the bride.
