Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) said that its SMILE service, having 3x 1600 teu Indian flag vessels, will now cater to Gulf markets from Indian subcontinent.
“The SMILE service which already has an established coastal market from Mundra and Pipavav to Cochin and Tuticorin will now have a direct Ex-im service from Pipa-vav to Jebel Ali. It will cater to the exim trade from Pipavav to Gulf,” SCI statement said.
The weekly Pipavav call to Jebel Ali has commenced from the mv Rajiv Gandhi SM 302W on Tuesday and the new port rotation will be: Jebel Ali, Mun-dra, Pipavav, Cochin, Tuticorin, Colombo, Pipavav, Mundra, Jebel Ali.
