According to police sources, 25-year-old Priyanka Thakur in her complaint said that Rambeer Singh (30), her ex-husband was unhappy with her new marriage and wanted to keep their three-year-old son with him. This had led to several arguments between the two, she said.
Priyanka had left Singh’s house two years ago and married to another man, but the couple separated after a few months. After the second failed marriage, Priyanka married her third and current husband, sources said. Rambeer often used to visit Priyanka and fought over the custody of their son, they said.
Priyanka also told officers that in the mean time, Rambeer also got married to a 28-year-old woman. On Wednesday, the boy went missing when he was playing outside. When Priyanka tried and failed to find him, she lodged a complaint against Rambeer and his wife. The duo is absconding, sources said. The police has registered a case against Rambeer and his wife.
