Film photographer Jagdish Aurangabadkar hanged himself to death at his Goregaon home on Thursday afternoon. Police officers said they did not suspect any foul play in the case. The police recovered a seven-page-long suicide note written in English. “Not a single allegation was made by him in the suicide note. The note only reflects that he was frustrated and upset due to illness and loneliness,” said police sources.
The body was discovered around 12.30 pm by his tiffin delivery boy, who noticed that an opening in the gate was open. When the boy looked through the opening, he saw Aurangabadkar's body hanging from the roof.
Incidentally, the photographer had played a hangman in the film Pukar where he was to hang Randhir Kapoor’s character.
