File FIR against Radhe Maa for carrying trident in plane: Court

A magistrate’s court on Tuesday directed airport police officials to file an FIR against self-styled godwoman Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa for carrying a trident during a flight.

A magistrate’s court on Tuesday directed airport police officials to file an FIR against self-styled godwoman Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa for carrying a trident during a flight. The magistrate issued this direction on a private complaint filed by Asad Patel, a RTI activist.

Mr Patel said, “I heard and saw on a few TV channels that Radhe Maa from Malad had taken a trishul inside the airplane. According to Civil Aviation Security, any weapon or realistic replica of a weapon is not allowed inside a plane but the airport security did not take any action against this illegal act. The court order will reach the police station in two days and I am also going to visit the police station to file a complaint.”

ACP of Airport, Suresh Vaidak, said, “No person has approached them to file a FIR and as the court has ordered registering the FIR, it will be registered.”

A senior official from Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) told The Asian Age that as per the rules, any weapon or replica of weapon is not allowed on board. We need to check this but as of now, we have not received any information from any department that some court order has been issued.

Close aide of Radhe Maa, Sanjeev Gupta, refused to comment on the case.
