Speaking to The Asian Age, he said, “My mobile phone details were given to the Government Railway Police at an initial stage of the investigation. But they did not say that my call data records show that I travelled in the same train as Priti did. How is it that the crime branch found these details nine months later ” He added: “Since my arrest, my family has been demanding that the investigation of the case be handed over to the CBI.”
Displaying a letter, he also said, “My family had written to the government as well seeking that the probe be transferred to the CBI. But the request was not accepted.”
He also showed a copy of the remand application of Pawankumar Gahalon, which he was carrying with him, and said that this remand application was submitted to the court while seeking Gahalon’s remand. Panwar also said that there are many glaring loopholes in the prosecution's case, but the court did not consider these.
