Builder seeks CBI inquiry in death

One of the builders from Ulhasnagar has sent a letter to the chief minister, requesting a CBI inquiry into builder Amar Bhatia’s death. The sudden death of famous director of Mohan Group is suspicious according to people who knew him well. All directors of the group have been called to record their statement on Wednesday.

None of the motormen have been able to give any information to GRP (Government Railway Police) regarding the death of Mr Bhatia, whose body was found on the railway tracks, with head on one side of the track and torso on the opposite side.

Upon approaching GRP Kalyan, GRP Karjat, and GRP officials of Badlapur who recorded the details as the body was found under their jurisdiction, it was found that no one has got any details from motormen. According to the Badlapur GRP PI According to Badlapur GRP PI K, “One motorman informed about Mr Bhatia’s body that a body seen near the track might have been trashed by some downside local train or Duranto Express.”

DCP Rupali Ambure said, “There were many injuries found on Mr Bhatia’s body. The body has now been sent to the forensic department. We have not yet recorded statements of his family members, so the investigation is yet to take off.”

Ram Wadhwa, a friend, business partner and neighbour of Mr Bhatia said, “It was the family who first traced Mr Bhatia’s location through a mobile application and then the GRP police went to the spot.”
