Fire erupts in film Mumbai’s hilly area, no casualties reported
As soon as residents spotted the fire, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Mumbai Police were informed about the situation.
Mumbai: A fire erupted in the hilly area of Film city, Goregoan on Wednesday evening around 7.45 pm. However, no casualties were reported. The flames could be seen from Oberoi Splendor, a residential society in Jogeshwari’s Vikhroli Link Road.
As soon as residents spotted the fire, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Mumbai Police were informed about the situation. However, later it was found that the site was at the hilly location of Film city.
According to the fire department, two teams were sent to douse the flames. The intensity of the fire was reduced around 9 pm. The officials have not been able to determine the reason behind the fire.
