Mumbai: One more witness in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati fake encounter case turned hostile on Friday.

The witness, a junior clerk from Udaipur, in his statement before the CBI had confirmed in the past that the collector’s office had received a letter from Prajapati in which he had expressed apprehension about a threat to his life in jail.

However, on Friday, the witness denied having given any such statement. The court then declared him hostile.

On Friday while deposing as witness in the court Bhatnagar said that the CBI had called him to their office but he had not given any statement to them.
