Mumbai: The prosecution in the April 2012 Sheena Bora murder case on Tuesday shared the video of exhumation of the place where Sheena’s body was found. The court has directed the CBI to also provide all the 60 photographs of the place from where the body's remains were exhumed.

The team of defence lawyers of all the three accused Indrani Mukerjea, her husband Peter and former husband Sanjeev Khanna watched the CD in the registrar's room, where copies of the video exhumation of body was shared with them. Apart from the video, a set of 60 photographs were also there in the CD and on request of the defence, special CBI judge J.C. Jagdale directed the prosecution to provide copies of these photographs to the defence.

These copies were earlier not provided to the defence as they are not relying on them, but upon requesting the material has been provided.

The defence has also requested for the call data record (CDR) of three persons, including of deceased Sheena Bora's mobile phone but the service providers have informed the court that since the company save those data only for one year they cannot provide them now.

Indrani's defence lawyer Sudeep Pasbola on Tuesday told the court that based on CDR the defence wants to establish something about the accused-turned-approver Shyamvar Rai's credibility and if the CDR is not provided to defence, it would cause serious prejudice to them. Following this, the court has directed the nodal officers of the service providers to appear before the court on Wednesday so that it could be checked if there is any possibility to get the CDRs or not. Further cross-examination of Rai has been deferred till September 28.
