Two deaf and mute get life sentence for murder
The prosecution case says that Husain and Parvez went to their friend's house in Bandra.

Mumbai: A Sessions court on Monday sentenced two youths, both mute and hearing-impaired, to life imprisonment after holding them guilty of murdering their friend’s 55-year-old mother in Bandra in 2013.
The session’s court sentenced Saif Husain, a gym trainer who lives at Bandra, and his accomplice Parvez Khan, the son of a doctor who lives at Mumbra. Both the persons were unemployed at the time of incidence.
The prosecution case says that Husain and Parvez went to their friend’s house in Bandra. The friend was in Australia but his mother Nalini Chainani was living with her husband who unfortunately, was alone at the time of incidence. The duo had killed her by slitting her throat and also stolen around Rs 5.8 lakh from the house.
However, they forgot one mobile phone at the scene and through this phone the police managed to arrest them within 12 hours of the crime. The police had taken help of interpreter to interrogate them and was able to recover weapon used in the crime and stolen booty. Even in court the interpreter was called to explain statement of accused.
