Mumbai: The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) on Wednesday successfully completed boring a 692-metre tunnel within 160 days for the Metro-3 corridor. The work was challenging for the team as the tunnel runs below the Tansa pipeline, Mumbai's most important water pipeline. This is the sixth breakthrough on package 6 (Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport-CSA International) of the corridor.
