Mumbai police raises awareness about sexual, verbal abuse in office spaces

They are using the medium to encourage people to complain on their official helplines against crimes, including stalking and cyber crimes.

Mumbai: While the Mumbai police continues to woo the youth with their witty tweets, they have also been using the Twitter handle to aid citizens in need. They are using the medium to encourage people to complain on their official helplines against crimes, including stalking and cyber crimes.  

Currently, they are running a campaign to make people aware about sexual and verbal abuse at workplaces.

 

Mumbaikars are seen to be using the medium to tag the Mumbai police’s Twitter handle for bringing instances of harassment and stalking to their notice. In return, they are guided on how to go on about the complaint procedure.
