Developers pin hopes on Akshay Tritiya
One of the realtors has kept 5 per cent off on stamp duty on houses registered in the name of women.
Mumbai: Since citizens believe in investing in property and gold when Akshay Tritiya, a hindu festival, arrives, this leads to realtors woo the home buyers with variety of lucrative offers to boost the sale. The real estate sector was hit post the implementation of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and GST (Goods and Services Tax). From availing discounts to giving off freebies, the developers are not leaving any opportunity to increase their sales.
One of the realtors has kept 5 per cent off on stamp duty on houses registered in the name of women. Others are offering around Rs 10 lakh discount. The real estate sector which was stagnant for a year, is now gaining confidence after the RERA implementation.
