BJP unveils Vistarak Yojana

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah asked all MLAs, MPs and ministers to work relentlessly to ensure that that the party makes inroads
into all corners of the state.

“We have launched Vistarak Yojana. Everyone has to help these fulltime workers. We must leave our footnote on every village, every area,” said Mr Shah in his address to party leaders in Mumbai.

Mr Shah held back-to-back meetings with party MLAs, MPs, district chiefs of BJP organisations and ministers through the day. In his meeting with MLAs, he told them about the party’s grand plans for strengthening it on ground.

“There will be 15,000 Vistaraks for Maharashtra, who will visit every home, building in the state to ensure that the party’s views can be directly presented before common people. For that they will need your total support. We must help them,” he said..

BJP president also met all BJP ministers in the state at chief minister Devendra Fadnavis’s official residence, Varsha.

He specifically directed them to focus on implementing the party manifesto.

“We must work on completing our manifesto and the party should be kept informed. Coordination with the party organisation is also the responsibility of ministers,” he said.

The BJP president, who began his three-day visit to the state on Friday, was given a grand welcome at the Mumbai airport.

He also visited Shivaji Park’s Bal Thackeray Smrithi Sthal and paid his tributes to the late Sena leader.

BJP’s nationwide ‘Vistar Yojna’ is all about expanding the party on the ground. Mr Shah has already visited 10 states before coming to Maharashtra.

According to the plan, BJP has deployed a minimum of 40 to 50 fulltime workers in every assembly constituency.

They will judge the mood of the people, inform them about the decisions taken by state and central governments, as well as give them insights about the party’s views on major current views.
