Mumbai: The sister of Egyptian national Eman Ahmed, who was once said to be the world’s heaviest woman and has been admitted at a private hospital here for weight loss treatment, is allegedly unhappy with the doctors attending on her. Shaimaa Ahmed is unhappy over the fact that Eman continues to suffer from periodic seizures.

Eman, despite losing 242 kg since her admission to the privately-run Saifee Hospital, is not able to fit inside the CT scan machine, through which doctors want to examine the neurological disorder causing the seizures.

The CT scan is necessary to find out what exactly is causing the seizures ever since Eman had a paralysis attack two years ago.

Eman continues to be paralysed on the right side of her body. She cannot walk in the future but if she tries hard, she can move her limbs.

Dr Muffazal Lakdawala, who is treating Eman, said, “I could treat her obesity and operated her weight reduction. Regarding her seizures, I cannot help it since she is suffering occasional seizures. We think it is because of the brain stroke she suffered two years ago.”

“Her sister is forlorn with me, since I am unable to tackle her seizure problem, despite the weight loss. No one was ready to take Eman’s case. Saifee came forward to help her and today miraculously she is half of her weight,” he said.
