Global services event to be held from May 15

More than 5,000 service entrepreneurs from 100 countries will be participating in the event.

Mumbai: A four-day event, the Global Exhibition on Services, will be held for the first time in Mumbai from May 15 to May 18. President Ram Nath Kovind, Maharashtra governor C. Vidyasagar Rao and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the exhibition, which has been organised in association with the Union commerce and industry ministry and government of Maharashtra for the services sector. More than 5,000 service entrepreneurs from 100 countries will be participating in the event.  This exhibition will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon.

The services sector has a major role to play in the development of the country as well as industrial production in India. In view of this, the Global Exhibition on Services, an international council, has been organised since 2015.

During this exhibition, individuals and groups involved in technology services, tourism and hospitality services, medical tourism services, transport and related services, commerce and financial services, audio services, construction and related engineering services, legal services, communication media services, environmental services, financial services and educational services will be present.
