Mumbai: Class 12 student collapses on school premises, dies

Mumbai: A 17-year-old student of a private school in Mira Road in adjoining Thane district died on Tuesday after he felt giddy and collapsed on its premises, the police said.
Shashank Agarwal, a class 12 student of the Singapore International School, reached its premises at around 7.30 AM, but after some time he felt giddy and collapsed, a police official said.
The school authorities rushed Agarwal to the Bhakti Vedant hospital at Mira Road, where he died during treatment.
Agarwal's body was taken to state-run JJ Hospital for postmortem, the official said, adding further investigation is on.
