Fire breaks out at multiplex in Thane’s Vivana mall

Thane: A fire broke out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at Thane’s Viviana Mall.

The fire broke out at the multiplex cinema chain which is located on the top most floor of the mall. Twelve fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze and cooling operations are underway. No casualties have been reported so far. Viviana Mall is the largest and most popular mall in Thane.

This incident comes less than a month after a major fire broke out in a packaging company in Dombivli area.
