Woman raped by masked man in Khar
The accused, who had covered his face with handkerchief, fled the spot after committing the crime.
Mumbai: A 20-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by a masked man, in suburban Khar, police said.
The accused is yet to be identified, said police. In her complaint, filed at Nirmal Nagar police station, the victim alleged that one person entered her house on Thursday and raped her, a senior official said. The accused, who had covered his face with
handkerchief, fled the spot after committing the crime, he said.
A police complaint was registered on Friday, he said. Police suspect role of someone staying in the vicinity of the victim's residence or some acquaintance. The medical reports have confirmed that the victim was raped, the official said.
