Now, you can checkout Mumbai’s development plan on mobile

Mumbai: Keeping itself abreast with modern technology, the Brihanmumbai municipal corporation has now made city’s development plan (DP) reservations available on BMC’s mobile app. The civic body has made the facility available on its official mobile app, which will allow citizens to check DP reservation of a plot instantly.

According to civic officials, both the 2034 draft DP and 1991 DP will be available on civic body’s mobile app ‘MCGM 24x7.’ The BMC is the first civic body in the country to provide the facility. “As the facility to check the DP reservation is GIS-based, one can immediately verify it on the spot with the help of android or IOS mobile. For this, the option ‘location’ in the mobile should be kept on,” said a senior civic official.

CM Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated this facility at Sahyadri Guest House on Wednesday. He also launched BMC’s ‘One MCGM GIS,’ portal. “The portal will help expediting BMC’s decision making due to better co-ordination” said a senior civic official.
