Mr Lande, along with five MNS corporators, defected to the Sena four months ago.

Formerly a member of the civic standing committee, Mr Lande was shifted to the improvements committee by the Sena. And now, if sources are to be believed, he will be elevated to the post of chairman of the improvements committee as reward for shifting loyalties to the Sena.
