Sharad Pawar kin slams bjp on remark

Rohit said that enough was enough and that Mr Pawar's political journey wasn't such that anybody could point fingers at him.

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief and former Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar’s grandnephew Rohit Pawar Tuesday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership for questioning Mr Pawar’s contribution to Maharashtra. Rohit, who posted in Marathi, said that the BJP leadership had sought Mr Pawar’s advice when they needed it, even praised him in Baramati, and was now questioning Mr Pawar’s contribution ahead of the Assembly election.

Rohit said in his Facebook post, “Whenever there is a need, (you) took Mr Pawar’s advice and came to Baramati to praise him and ahead of the election, you are asking what he has done!” Calling out the BJP for its alleged doublespeak, Rohit equated the BJP with a dhol which could be played from both sides.

Rohit said that enough was enough and that Mr Pawar’s political journey wasn’t such that anybody could point fingers at him. Rohit is preparing to contest the Assembly polls from Karjat Jamkhed Assembly constituency of Ahmednagar district. The 288-member state Legislative Assembly is expected to go to polls in October 2019.
