Judgment in J Dey murder case reserved

The final arguments in the case got over on Tuesday following which the judge reserved order and said he would pronounce the judgment on May 2.

Mumbai: The special MCOCA court on Tuesday reserved its judgment in the 2011 senior journalist J Dey murder case in which gangster Chhota Rajan is also an accused and facing trial from Delhi’s Tihar jail. The court has reserved its order till May 2.

According to special public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat, the prosecution has examined 155 witnesses in the case and of them around eight have turned hostile.

The final arguments in the case got over on Tuesday following which the judge reserved order and said he would pronounce the judgment on May 2.

Dey was shot dead by bikers on June 11, 2011.
