Bandra sees high drama as activists enforce bandh

Mumbai: Bhim Sainiks forced shops and educational institutions to shut down from Bandra to Dadar and also resorted to ‘rasta roko’ on S V Road at Bandra and rail roko at Dadar.

According to some parents from Bandra around noon they received calls and messages from the school informing them to come and collect their children as the schools were being forced to shut down.

Most private establishments were also forced to shut down. The police conducted flag marches to ensure that there was no violent incident in any of these areas.
