Acting on a tip-off, a team led by ward officer Sanjay Donde and Abhay Sonawane swooped down on two godowns located in the BP Road area of Bhayandar (east). More than 3,000 kilograms of banned packaging material had been stocked in both the godowns, officials said.  Fines amounting Rs 75,000 were slapped on the owners of the establishments.
