Kolkata:Lashing out at BJP president Amit Shah for visiting West Bengal, Saradha chit fund scam accused Trinamul Congress leader Madan Mitra has threatened to bar his entry to the state. He also compared his appearance with that of “dacoit of Chambal”.
Mocking Mr Shah Mr Mitra claimed, “I would take his name only once because if I repeat his name my day goes bad. When he came here for the first time, he had rice with moong daal at lunch on an invitation at someone’s home.”
He mentioned, “During his second visit he did not have any invitation for lunch however. No one even offered him a chair to sit. Next time he comes, he would not be able to enter the state. We mean it.”
Quickly recitifying himself the former Trinamul minister explained, “I mean the people of Bengal would not allow him to visit here again. What he did not know is that this tribal family was supplied food by chief minister Mamata Banerjee who has ushered in development in the Jangalmahal.”
He added, “What could be his purpose to visit the state except creating trouble here? He looks like the dacoit of Chambal. But this is neither Uttar Pradesh nor Madhya Pradesh. This is Bengal. Each and every inch will not be spared. There will be a fight for every inch.”
Mr Mitra also underlined, “The BJP now faces a chase all across the country. Bengal is going to be the place where the last nail in the BJP’s coffin will be put.”
