Are you with country or Pakistan: BJP to Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata: Hours after Trinamul Congress chief Mamata Banerjee’s accusation on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Pulwama attack, state BJP president Dilip Ghosh has sought the chief minister to clarify her stand asking whether she was with the country or Pakistan.

“She can raise allegation only. The country has been in the grip of terrorism for the past 30 years. Nearly 15,000 security forces personnel were killed. What happenend then? Earlier, 60-70 security forces personnel were killed in a single day at different places starting from Bastar to Jammu and Kashmir. Who did she ask the questions then?” he wondered.

The BJP Kharagpur MLA underlined, “In respect of intelligence failure, red alert has been issued always and the Army is alert. Still incidents are happening. But the government is  cautious. The place from where it is being operated has to be hit. Our government has carried it out and it will do so again if needed.”
