Class 11 boy arrested with arms in Murshidabad
Mostaherul used to work as a courier in an arms smuggling racket for money, according to the police.

Berhampore: A Class 11 student was arrested by the police with a huge cache of arms and ammunitions in Murshidabad on Saturday morning. Mostaherul Islam, the accused, is originally from Sherpur village in Nimtita of Shamesergunj.
But he lives at Sultangunj College More in Kaliachak of Malda where he is a student at Kaliachak High School.
Mostaherul used to work as a courier in an arms smuggling racket for money, according to the police.
His arrest came after the recovery of twelve 7.65-mm pistols, 24 magazines, 84 rounds ammunitions for 7.65-mm pistols and eight country-made pipeguns and sixteen rounds of eight-mm ammunitions from Chander More at Suti on Friday night, said Superintendent of Police (Murshidabad) Mukesh Kumar.
