Class 12 girl commits suicide live on Facebook
According to her family, she met the youth in between and she was looking depressed while returning.
Kolkata: A young woman committed suicide live on Facebook at her home in Sonarpur of South 24 Parganas.
The deceased Mousumi Mistry was a Class 12 student of Kamrabad School. She had an affair with a local youth L. Aryan at Ghasiapara.
She, however left her home at Baidyapara on Sunday afternoon after getting a call from another girl who is her friend.
While leaving Mousumi told her mother that she would return by 5 pm. She however returned at around 6 pm.
According to her family, she met the youth in between and she was looking depressed while returning.
At night the teengaged girl went to sleep after having dinner. On Monday morning her mother knocked the door but did not get any response. She, later saw through a window that Mousumi was hanging from the ceiling with a dupatta tied around her neck.
Probing the suicide the police later found that she chatted with her lover on WhatsApp at night. While chatting an altercation took place between themselves. Logging into her account on Facebook Mousumi clicked the LIVE option and hanged herself, a police officer said adding that the images of the final moments of her life were found in the video. The body was sent for post-mortem.
