Nashik: Farmers demanding a complete loan waiver demonstrated against chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in Lasalgaon on Sunday, while in another incident, farmers opposing the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway gave him a memorandum written in blood.

The farmers raised slogans and demanded complete waiver of loans and remunerative prices for farm produce. The CM appealed the farmers to stop their demonstrations but the farmers did not listen to him. They only stopped after a while. Meanwhile some supporters began clapping to neutralise the din while the CM continued with his speech.
