Commuters advised to avoid roads near Ram Lila ground

New Delhi: The Delhi traffic police in wake of Jan Akrosh Rally to be held in Ram Lila Maidan on Sunday have issued traffic advisory for the commuters.

Accoridng to the police, in view of the Congress rally to be held today, at Ram Lila Ground, the traffic movement around and near Ram Lila Ground will be affected.

General Public is advised to avoid taking routes towards Aruna Asaf Ali Road, Delhi Gate, Darya Ganj, New Delhi Railway Station, Ajmeri Gate, Pahar Ganj, ITO, Rajghat, Minto Road, Vivekanand Marg, J.L.N. Marg etc.

 No commercial vehicles will be allowed from Delhi Gate and Rajghat to JLN Marg, Kamla Market R/A towards Hamdard, Paharganj Chowk and Y Point Sheela Cinema to Ajmeri Gate, DDU Minto Lt. Pt. towards Kamla Market, Lahori Gate towards Ajmeri Gate on Shradhanand Marg, Barakhamba Tolstoy towards Guru Nanak Chowk and Sheela Cinema — 'Y' — Point along with Lahori Gate.
