Man rapes minor in Shalimar Bagh, held
The incident took place in the slums of Shalimar Bagh where the minor was staying with her mother.
New Delhi: In yet another incident of crime against minor girls, a thief allegedly sneaked inside a house in Shalimar Bagh on Saturday noon with intent to steal, but ended up raping a minor girl when he couldn’t find anything to decamp with.
The poice said that the accused has been identified as Suraj was caught, while he was trying to escape from the spot.
The incident took place in the slums of Shalimar Bagh where the minor was staying with her mother.
On Saturday afternoon, the mother of the victim had gone out on a personal errand when the incident took place. “Seeing the woman leave, Suraj entered the house and frantically searched for valuables to steal. However, he didn’t find anything to decamp with.”
“During the search, Suraj saw the 14-year-old girl in another room and raped her at knifepoint. However, he soon ran out of his luck when the victim’s mother ha dreached home and raised an alarm,” said police.
