Money will be spent in coordination with various market bodies.

NEW DELHI: The AAP government allocated Rs 1000 crore of the total budget for repair and maintenance of smaller roads owned by the municipal corporations of the city.  

Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said, “The government has proposed to set aside Rs 1,000 crore for repair and maintenance of smaller roads owned by the civic bodies.”

He said construction of  elevated road of Barapullah Phase-3 from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar would be completed by December 2018. Construction of elevated road over Najafgarh drain from Kakrola Mod to Wazirabad will start in this financial year.

Construction of flyover at Karawal Nagar, Bhajanpura Junction and flyover at Gagan Cinema, Nand Nagri T-Junction and Underpass at Loni. Road on Mangal Pandey Marg of 6.5 km  length will be started soon.

Construction of  Kalindi Bypass between DND flyover and Faridabad along Yamuna and Agra Canal will be started soon. To speed up the work of Wi-Fi facility, the the project will be implemented by PWD.

The AAP government announced an allocation of Rs 100 crore for development of markets. Money will be spent in coordination with various market bodies.
