Delhi: Denied leave, drunk constable creates ruckus

Bulandshahr: Denied leave, a constable created ruckus today in Police Lines at Bulandshahr in an inebriated condition and threatened to kill anyone coming near him.

The constable Rahul Rana of Agra, was posted at Guard Duty at Police Lines at Bulandshahr, a police official said.

District Magistrate AK Singh and SSP Soniya Singh rushed to the PT ground of Police Lines and pacified the drunk constable.

Rana was finally taken into custody and disarmed.

According to SSP Soniya Singh, the constable Rana had been working overtime and sought leave which was not granted by the line inspector.
