Minor girl sedated, molested inside car
The incident came to light at around 7 pm when the girl regained consciousness and managed to reach her home.
New Delhi: A minor girl was allegedly sedated, held captive in a car and was molested for over one-and-half hours in Outer Delhi’s Rohini area on Saturday evening. The 14-year-old student was returning home from tuition around 3 pm when her neighbour committed the crime.
The police said that the incident took place at around 3 pm while the minor girl was on her way home from the tuitions when her neighbour stopped the car nearby. He then allegedly sedated her by giving her some form of cloroform and made her sit in the car.
He then drove for over one-and-a-half hours before dumping the girl near her house. The incident came to light around 7 pm when the girl regained consciousness and managed to reach home.
She then told her parents about the incident following which the harried parents approached the police and lodged a complaint. Based on the plaint, the Alipur police has registered a case in this connection and arrested the youth. The girl lives with her family in Alipur police station limits while her father is a taxi driver.
