Businessman killed near Dwarka, 6 arrested

New Delhi: The Delhi police has arrested six people who on Tuesday night had shot a businessman dead and injured others.

The arrested have been identified as Mohom-mad Sahil, Janak Nepali, Manoj ali-as Rocky, Nagendra, Rohit and Babbar Khan.

The deceased, Rajender Garg (45), was a distributor of Nestle. On Tuesday night, along with his brother Ramesh Garg and an employee Kamaldev, he was returning home in Dwarka from his shop in Kakrola.

After their vehicle reached Kakrola Mor, two bikers obstructed their way. Soon, the robbers attacked them with an iron rod but Rajendra refused to give up and continued to resist them.

Following this, the miscreants shot two bullets at Rajender and Kamaldev. Rajender died on the spot and the robbers fled with the bag.

According to the police, Mohommad Sahil was the main accused. He was an ex-employee of Garg but was fired from the job, following which he wanted to take revenge, said the cops. He planned the entire crime with other of his associates. Nagendra was the one who fired the bullet.
