New Delhi: Sacked Delhi water minister Kapil Mishra on Wednesday launched a “massive banner campaign” across the national Capital against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling him “corrupt” and urging people to join his campaign against the AAP supremo. Terming it as a birthday surprise for the Delhi CM, Mr Mishra also posted a video on Twitter with the lyrics “Kejriwal teri kursi gol.”

Huge banners were put across major flyovers in Delhi, including ITO, ISBT, Peeragarhi, Wazirabad, Azadpur, Khasjuri, Kale Khan, Palam and Dwarka. “Hundred days of surgical strike against Kejriwal’s corruption. Now it’s clear that Kejriwal is corrupt,” read the banners, hanging down the flyovers for the passersby to take notice.

Mr Mishra in June had launched India Against Corruption 2.0 to take on Mr Kejriwal. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was formed after some prominent India Against Corruption volunteers including Mr Kejriwal changed their track and took a political plunge.

“We have completed 100 days of surgical strike against corrupt Kejriwal. Today, India Against Corruption is doing a banner campaign across the city,” Kapil Mr Mishra said.
